Priyanka Shahi, founder of Konektee, turned personal challenges into a mission to support Nepalese migrants. From overcoming language barriers, financial struggles, and mental health challenges in Australia, she built a successful nursing career, guided fellow migrants, and became a passionate advocate for mental health, skills development, and psychosocial support. Today, she leads Konektee to empower migrants and returnees with the guidance and tools they need to thrive at home and abroad.

Deepak Singh, an MPH graduate from Kalikot, Karnali, has been working as a Project Coordinator with Konektee since its inception. A migrant returnee himself, he helped pilot a handloom training project in Surkhet for migrant women, gaining valuable grassroots experience in livelihood promotion. Deepak is passionate about making Karnali self-sustainable by enhancing professional trades based on existing practices, such as Bheda Chyangra farming etc. He aims to integrate traditional methods with innovative approaches to create lasting socio-economic impact in Karnali province where Indian migration is high.
