Foundation
Konektee was founded to bridge critical gaps in the support system for Nepali migrants, focusing on the risks they face before, during, and after their migration journeys. The organization emerged in response to pressing issues such as inadequate pre-departure orientation, lack of mental health support, and the complex challenges faced by returnees reintegrating into society.
Purpose
Konektee is committed to addressing the complex challenges of migration from mental health struggles experienced abroad to the difficulties of reintegration and the risks of remigration when reintegration falls short. Our mission is to build a robust support system and safety net that empowers migrants and their families at every stage of their journey.
Geographic Focus
Our primary focus is Nepal, with a special emphasis on Karnali Province for our reskilling programs, along with other regions that experience high rates of migration. When it comes to online counselling and psychosocial support, there are no geographic barriers. Our services extend beyond borders, ensuring that migrants and their families can access the support they need, wherever they are.
