Pre-Departure Services

Learn about the key programs and services we offer to support Nepali migrants.

For New Migrants

Pre-departure Training
A one-day workshop tailored to the specific countries migrants are moving to. Through simulated scenarios based on real-life experiences, participants learn to navigate cultural adaptation, workplace dynamics, and language barriers. Interactive sessions allow them to propose solutions, share insights, and learn from each other’s approaches.

Mental Health Awareness
We provide educational materials on mental health, including signs, symptoms, and coping strategies, via social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Our mobile app gamifies learning—participants can track their mood, engage with scenario-based challenges, earn points, and unlock rewards such as mobile recharges for their loved ones back home. Short films, documentaries, and psychoeducational content help break mental health stigma and equip individuals with practical skills for emotional well-being.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training
A two-day certification program equipping migrants to recognize and respond to common mental health challenges, including suicide prevention. Graduates become local Mental Health First Aiders, can access our psychosocial support hotline, and are encouraged to serve as Konektee Ambassadors, fostering resilient communities abroad.
