Community Engagement
At Konektee, we engage communities to ensure returnee migrants reintegrate successfully. By involving families, local leaders, NGOs, and government, migration becomes a shared responsibility.
Why it matters:
Returnees face social exclusion, mental health challenges, and limited
livelihood opportunities. Community engagement promotes acceptance, reduces
stigma, and creates economic opportunities.
Our Approach:
- Awareness & Dialogue: Community meetings, campaigns, and anti-stigma initiatives
- Capacity Building: Training leaders, NGOs, and volunteers
- Livelihood & Skills: Cooperatives, vocational training, and market linkages
- Cultural & Social Activities: Welcome ceremonies, festivals, and volunteer projects
Stakeholders Involved: Returnees, families, community leaders, NGOs, government, businesses, and youth/women groups.
Impact: Stronger social support, improved mental health, economic growth, community resilience, and safer migration pathways.
