Kalikot FC: At Konektee, we believe that every individual deserves the chance to grow and dream regardless of their background. That’s why we recently raised NPR 18,366 to support Kalikot Football Club, a rural team with passionate young players but limited resources.
This donation helped provide essential football equipment, ensuring that these underprivileged players can continue training and competing. Our goal is to promote sports at the community level, empowering youth through access to opportunities they deserve.
Nyano Kaakh: At Konektee, we launched a donation drive to support Nyano Kaakh an organization dedicated to uplifting vulnerable communities in Kalikot. We successfully raised one laptop and NPR 10,000 to help children access virtual learning and support Nyano Kaakh’s impactful initiatives.
Konektee at Karnali youth festival Jan 2025: We’re thrilled to have participated in Yuva Mahotsav 2025 in Surkhet, where we had the privilege of meeting the Chief Minister of Karnali, Mayor of Birendranagar Municipality and social activists. This event provided us with a valuable opportunity to build networks for future collaborations focused on youth empowerment, community development, and supporting migrants. We’re excited to turn these connections into impactful initiatives for positive change.

Empowering migrants through Pashmina & Dhaka Weaving Training:
At Konektee, we are committed to creating sustainable opportunities for families of migrant workers. As part of this effort, we have initiated a Nepali Pashmina and Dhaka weaving training program, where seven women from low socioeconomic backgrounds are being trained by a professional weaving expert. This program aims to empower women by equipping them with valuable skills that can lead to financial independence and sustainable livelihoods. Through this initiative, we hope to preserve Nepal’s rich weaving heritage while supporting women in becoming self-reliant entrepreneurs. Together, we are weaving a brighter future!
Community Engagement in Latikoili: Understanding Migrants’ Needs
Konektee recently conducted a community engagement and needs assessment in Latikoili, Surkhet, focusing on the challenges faced by seasonal returnee migrants from India and Arabian countries. Many of these individuals migrate to sustain their families but struggle to find stable opportunities in Nepal.
Through discussions with 20 community members, we identified a strong demand for skills training in:
✅ Poultry farming
✅ Agriculture
✅ Dhaka & Pashmina weaving
✅ Stitching
✅ Goat & buffalo farming
Additionally, due to their low socioeconomic status, many migrants expressed the need for small investments to start businesses and secure a sustainable future in Nepal.
This assessment reinforces the importance of livelihood programs that provide both skills and financial support, enabling migrants to rebuild their lives at home. Konektee remains committed to addressing these needs and empowering communities for a better tomorrow.
